We are an established electrical installations contractor, for the past 25 years
An Electrical Safety Certificate, which is also as an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is a report produced by qualified NICEIC engineers. They check the current condition of the electrical installation within a property, which must adhere to strict British Standard BS 7671 and NICEIC regulations.
It is the landlords responsibility to ensure all electrical wiring and fittings within the property are deemed safe to use. The only way to establish this is to to carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Report. If the property is going to be let through the council then this is a legal requirement, most councils will only accept NICEIC reports.
